Watts Partners with Planet Water for Global Handwashing Day
In recognition of Global Handwashing Day, Watts has again partnered with Planet Water Foundation to deliver clean drinking water, sanitation supplies and educational programming to vulnerable communities in Cambodia, India, Mexico and the Philippines. To support these efforts, Watts sponsored the construction of four AquaTowers at primary schools in Cambodia, India, Mexico, and Philippines, which provide children and their families with easy access to clean, safe drinking water and handwashing facilities. Watts also donated AquaSan mobile surface disinfection systems to promote good water hygiene practices in the schools’ latrines and funded water health and hygiene education programs.Since 2016, Watts and Planet Water Foundation have provided clean water to approximately 50,000 people in Cambodia, China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Philippines, Thailand and Puerto Rico. Watts Employees Donate to Hurricane Ida Disaster Relief
Watts donated $32,000, some of which was matched employee contributions, to the Red Cross to provide relief to communities recovering in the wake of Hurricane Ida. The funding was used to help those who lacked clean water, were displaced from their homes or did not have power for an extended period. Fort Worth Holds Blood Drive After Texas Deep Freeze

Andover and North Andover Headquarters Donate $10K to Lazarus House
During the holiday season, employees in Massachusetts contributed critical supplies to Lazarus House, a local organization that supports community members facing poverty, food insecurity and homelessness. Watts Delivers Warmth to Veteran's Tiny Home

Shanghai Employees Volunteer During COVID-19 Lockdown
Various colleagues in China stepped up to support their city, which was severely impacted by a COVID-19 lockdown. Volunteering included distributing PCR tests and data collection, disposing of non-medical waste and organizing recruitment efforts for a volunteer healthcare worker online clinic, which provided virtual care, self-care guidance and mental health support.
Fort Worth and Blauvelt Complete Climb for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Colleagues from Fort Worth, TX, USA and Blauvelt, NY, USA participated in “The Big Climb,” an event that generates financial support for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), and the 96 participants raised $5,000. Members of the team climbed, walked and wheeled to raise awareness and funds for the research, support and advocacy efforts of the LLS.
Sorgues Collects Critical Supplies to Support Ukraine
To support those impacted by the conflict in Ukraine, colleagues in Sorgues, France partnered with the local town hall to create care packages. Tirelessly collecting and organizing supplies such as face masks, gloves, sanitary products and food, employees were able to send relief directly to those in need.
Vernon Plants Trees to Offset Carbon Emissions
More than 20 colleagues from Vernon, BC, Canada volunteered with the Okanagan Similkameen Stewardship group to plant over 400 indigenous species of trees and shrubs in a local park. It is estimated that their work will help offset roughly 23 metric tons of CO2 over the next 20 years.
